Dimensional
Variation Analysis [DVA]
DVA is a three-dimensional computer analysis of assembly variation.
This technique provides insight to the magnitude of system nominals,
variation and additionally describes the final assembly main effects.
That is to say, that DVA estimates the final assembly variation and ranks
the primary contributors to the variation.
This method often allows for relaxed component
characteristic tolerances while maintaining the assembly functionality.
